Detox diets are known not only for their excessive promotion in recent years, but also for their peculiarities. The most talked about is the one that concerns their own dietary configuration, restricted to the almost exclusive consumption of fruits and vegetables through juices or smoothies.
In this way, numerous essential nutrients for the body are left aside in order to achieve a rapid drop in kilos while purifying the different organs that make up the digestive system. This is the main reason why adopting an adequate diet after the cleansing regimen becomes an essential step in order to avoid the rebound effect.
