A detox plan of only two days can allow us to cleanse and eliminate all the fat that has accumulated in the body after small excesses due to extraordinary celebrations such as business dinners, birthdays, family meals or various festivities.

The body suffers the effects of abuse, such as hangovers when we overindulge in alcoholic beverages, lack of sleep and, of course, weight gain. In this way, it is possible to compensate for this situation, as long as from Monday our diet is balanced and healthy again. Otherwise, the rebound effect will end any effort in this regard.

How to prepare a two-day detox diet?

  • The basic recommendations are to eat light meals, avoid excessively fatty foods as well as salty ones, and drink plenty of fluids, mainly water. Likewise, purées, vegetable-based broths, cooked white fish, rice, low-fat yogurt and fruits are also highly recommended.
  • Being more specific, in a detox food routine for the weekend we can include products such as oranges, grapes, pineapple, olive oil, fennel, spinach, leeks, beets, carrots or celery.
  • To carry out a detox diet during the weekend, we can repeat the following menu during the two consecutive days: at breakfast an unsweetened coffee or tea, an orange juice and a fresh fruit salad; in the middle of the morning a green tea and a low-fat yogurt; at lunch white rice with tomato or mixed vegetable salad, boiled white fish and pineapple; at snack a fruit; at dinner a broth or a vegetable puree and a mixed fruit salad.
  • In this way, we obtain a low-calorie and very light diet that, in addition, is very bearable due to the large number of options that we find among all the meals. It must be taken into account that it is a specific regimen that should not exceed, in any case, two days in duration, otherwise we expose ourselves to ending up unbalancing the nutrients we ingest.
