What Is Bloating?
Bloating occurs when your gastrointestinal (GI) tract gets filled with gas or air. It is also a result of an excessive intake of solids, liquids, and gas which causes indigestion in the digestive system. often times it is mistaken for excess water retention which is not.
Bloating involves excessive gas, pains, abdominal rumbling, or burping. It can leave your abdomen looking swollen.
The detox diet is characterized by the intake mainly of fruits and vegetables, which help to eliminate toxins from the body and purify it completely.
One of the main problems with this type of diet is the bloating that occurs in the stomach due to the large amount of fiber in such foods. This swelling gives rise to annoying gas and stomach pains.
To avoid such problems, I am going to give you a series of tips to solve the swelling caused by detox diets.
Tips to avoid bloating on the detox diet
To prevent your stomach area from swelling, the best option is to eat steamed fruits and vegetables, thus ingesting less amount of fiber without losing the nutrients of such foods.

This water intake depends on your Body mass index (BMI). For a person with a body weight, lower than 70kg can take 50cl of water at an interval of 2 hours 5-6 times which is 2.5-3litres of water.
This intake of 50ml water every 2 hours softens the bowel and increases bowel movement.
